As a Colorado Springs family photographer I’m lucky to have a lot of gorgeous location options. Ute Valley Park is just one of them! Look at that beautiful mountain background.

Family photography is not just about posed portraits; it’s about capturing those moments of love, laughter, and connection. I make sure to get a variety of shots, including family, kids on their own, and of course photos of just mom and dad.

Like all of my favorite locations, Ute Valley Park is ideally situated so we can capture that beautiful glow you see in these photos. That’s also why we start about an hour before sunset.

💛 In-home newborn sessions are one of my favorite things to shoot. They’re calm, cozy, and feel like you since you’re in your own space.

You don’t have to leave the house or pack anything, you just snuggle your baby and I take care of everything else.

This session was such a sweet one. Big sister wasn’t really sure about photos at first (which is totally normal!), but since we were in her own space, she got to take breaks, play in her room, and come back when she was ready. And at the end we got some sweet pictures.

You don’t need a perfect house - just some good light and your beautiful family. I’ll bring the rest.
