More than just pretty pictures.

Your family’s story is completely yours - and my job is to capture it in a way that feels real. The big laughs. The quiet snuggles. The little in-between moments you didn’t even realize were happening.

Sessions are easy and relaxed, with a focus on connection - not perfection. I’ll guide you through outfit choices (you’ll have access to the client closet!) and we’ll chat before your session to make sure everything feels good going in.

After your session, you’ll receive a full gallery of edited images. From there, you’ll choose the collection that works best for you - each one includes digital files and print credit so you can turn your favorites into something tangible. It’s simple, low-stress, and designed to feel as good as the photos look.

"Anne is so great to work with! She is patient and has the sweetest ideas for poses. She positions and prompts us perfectly to capture real, genuine emotion. We worked with her for couple photos and our first family photo session and it won’t be our last!" - Megan

What It Costs

Collections start at $800
Each session includes a full gallery of beautifully edited images and three collection options that combine digital files with flexible print credit - so you can choose what works best for your family.

Most families go with the middle collection at $1,200, which includes 30 digital images, a $500 print credit, and a slideshow of your images set to music. There’s no pressure and no sales appointment - just simple options and full support if you want help choosing.

And if you book by May 15, you'll also get a special spring bonus with select collections.

To Book Your Session

A $300 retainer holds your date and includes:

  • A 1.5–2 hour session outdoors at sunset
  • A planning call to chat about the details
  • Personal styling help (plus access to my client closet)
  • A beautifully edited gallery of images to choose from

That $300 is applied toward the collection you pick after your session - so you can wait to decide until you've seen your photos.

Family Photos FAQs

What should we wear for family photos?

The goal is to keep the focus on you - not your clothes. Choose something flattering and comfortable, and think coordinating instead of matching. Earth tones and muted colors always photograph beautifully and help keep things timeless. Try to avoid neon, super bright colors, or lots of black.

When you book, you’ll get personalized styling help and access to my client closet. I’ve also written a blog post with tips and outfit examples if you want a peek: [Choosing Outfits for Family Photos].

Why should I book a family photoshoot?

Because time really does fly. Photos give you a way to hold onto this season before it slips by.
And if you’re anything like me, you’re usually the one taking the pictures - this is your chance to actually be in them, too.

How long does a family photoshoot last?

Sessions usually last around 1.5 to 2 hours. That gives us plenty of time for everything - snuggly group shots, sweet individual moments with each parent and child, and a few of just the two of you, too. It’s relaxed and flexible, with room to go with the flow.

When will I get my photos?

Your gallery will be ready within 4–5 weeks after your session. Once it's ready, you’ll get to look through all your images at home and choose the collection that works best for your family.
Most printed products are ready within 3–4 weeks of ordering.

What’s the best way to display our family photos?

These photos deserve to be seen, not just saved on a hard drive or your phone. Whether it’s a big framed print, a gallery wall of smaller images, or an album your kids will flip through for years, I’ll help you figure out what works best for your home. Gift prints for grandparents are always a favorite, too!

Are digital files included?

They are! Digital files are part of the collections you’ll choose from after your session. Once your gallery is ready, you’ll pick your favorites and use your print credit however you’d like - on albums, framed wall art and more.

Can we include our pet in our family photos?

Absolutely. Pets are always welcome. Since they’ll be in some (but not all) of the photos, it helps to bring an extra set of hands to keep them happy between shots. Don’t forget a leash, some water, and a few treats!
