Sometimes when I’m editing a family photo session, there’s an image that stands out to me so much that I just have to edit it right away.
This is one of those. I photographed this sweet girl’s family at a spot overlooking Pikes Peak and Pulpit Rock in Colorado Springs. Anytime I take photos of families I like to take the kids aside and get some portraits of them alone. Stepping away from mom and dad is sometimes helpful to get these gorgeous images.

Not to mention the agony of shopping for 7 people!! But it was 100% worth it. And I’m definitely hiring someone next time so I can be in more…
